Yet this development has some positive effects in the society, we can’t deny the fact that there is still a negative effects that social brings. In which, some millennials can abuse their freedom of speech in the use of social media.

The major issue is Cyber bullying,

According to UNICEF (2018) , there was an increase of Cyber Bullying related to suicide cases and it was found out that 70 percent of the youth are being affected. (www.unicef-irc.org)

Knowing this, it is pretty alarming and apparently this simple issue can kill or harm a life.If a person posted something that is not approved to the taste of others then He/ she may get bashed or harassed, that is where the cyber bullying starts. Cyber bullying is getting worse because it can be done anonymously in which, there is no specific target. Anyone can be one of the victims.

Celebrities are prone to Cyber Bullying since they are famous and their actions are always monitored by the people. Even simple mistakes, people will judge them.
Not just the celebrities are being affected with this issue but also the students, parents and teachers. Most of the time people used twitter for ranting where in they posts some provoking words against to their victims.

One way to prevent this from getting worst is that the one who has been bullied should stand up and defend theirselves without fighting back with provoking words. They should warn them to stop. If they persist, you can report them to the authority, or take a picture of the things they’ve posted and file a case against him/her. We must bare in mind that prevention is better than cure. Parents can also contribute on the prevention of Cyber bullying by disciplining their children and by teaching them how to act properly. Every bad actions, has always a consequences. However, people must know how to be a media literate and should know what is the meaning of word “netiquette”.
